Mike McQuaid

Mike McQuaid is a Principal Engineer at GitHub, currently working on improving internal developer and external maintainer experience in Communities.

He is the author of Git in Practice, an intermediate Git book, and writes and speaks about open source, engineering career development, remote work, and empathy in tech on his site, podcasts and conferences. He has also been the project leader and maintainer of the Homebrew package manager for 12 years.
