Olly is a technology founder and investor based in Edinburgh. In 2007 he co-founded FreeAgent, the cloud accounting platform for small businesses, and as CTO helped grow it to more than 100,000 customers, through an IPO and its acquisition by NatWest.
He later spent a year as Director of Engineering at 37signals, the company behind Basecamp and HEY, before launching Pagecord in 2024 – an open source blogging platform for independent-minded writers.
Olly is also an exec mentor and angel investor, backing more than 40 technology businesses over the past seven years.
